Who We Support
The Natasha Domeshek Fund / The Angel Run
The MFi-Natasha Domeshek Fund was established to fund services for families in need and a scholarship for the Medfield High School
Class of 2012. The Fund's primary activity is the annual Angel Run, a five kilometer "fun run/walk" held each December in Medfield.
The Angel Run was conceived by friends of Natasha Domeshek, an 8-year-old Medfield third grade student who died in 2002, as a way to
celebrate Natasha's spirit during her favorite time of year and around her birthday. The Angel Run is a community fun raiser - a
family event designed to bring members of the extended Medfield community together. Like Boston's famous Jingle Bell Run, the Angel
Run is a celebration of the season. Runners and spectators attend in holiday garb, festive decorations adorn the course, carolers
entertain runners and spectators alike, and water stations along the route are events unto themselves. Thousands of people have
participated in the Angel Run and now look forward to it each year.
Goals and Needs:
- Corporate sponsors (financial and in-kind donations appreciated)
- Volunteers for advance work and race-day organization
- Enthusiastic participants and spectators.
