Nominate an Extraordinary Volunteer as Volunteer of the YearMedfield, MA October 18, 2008 - The Medfield Foundation proudly recognizes and congratulates all of Medfield's many volunteers, whose tremendous and varied efforts make Medfield a better place for all of us. On October 15, 2005 the Medfield Foundation sponsored A Symphony of Community Support event, a symphony concert at the Medfield High School auditorium, which celebrated both the opening of the three new Medfield schools and the many volunteers of Medfield. In 2008 the Medfield Foundation continued its celebration of volunteer efforts by beginning to formally recognize by name as the Volunteers of the Year individual volunteers whose extraordinary efforts and activities have made a special marked difference to the quality of life in Medfield. The Medfield Foundation recognizes special individuals amongst us, whether they are exceptional volunteers from private groups, from town committees, or from any other entities or groups. Annually in the spring, the Medfield Foundation names the Medfield Foundation Volunteers of the Year. The Medfield Foundation Volunteers of the Year is selected from amongst nominations of individuals submitted by the public. Nominations can be made through the Contact Us link, by describing the specific activities and reasons why this person contributed in an extraordinary way toward improving the quality of life in Medfield that make the nominee worthy of recognition. The Medfield Foundation will select the Volunteers of the Year from amongst the nominated individuals. To see the past Medfield Foundation Volunteer of the Year follow this link. Medfield, MA September 9, 2008 - Medfield Foundation is proud to announce the launch of our new website. "It's been a long time coming and couldn't have been done without the help of all the Board Members," said Stephen Phillips who was responsible for managing the re-design project. "Our goal was to have an easy to use, visually appealing website that would allow visitors an easy way to learn about MFi, to make a donation or to learn how to start a new Project. Over time, we hope to be a resource for the existing and new Projects supported by MFi." MFi Press Releases
