The Medfield Foundation Angel Run
The Medfield Foundation Angel Run is a community "fun" raiser and family event. It brings members of Medfield together during a festive time of year to generate funds in support of our neighbors in need. In 2006, family and friends organized the run in remembrance of Natasha Domeshek. Going forward, Medfield Foundation Inc. (Mfi) will continue the holiday tradition. The majority of the proceeds will continue to support town residents through the Medfield Outreach Program and other Mfi Initiatives
The Angel Run is a 5k (3.2 mile) run/walk the first Sunday in December. It begins and ends at the Ralph Wheelock Elementary School in Medfield. The race is open to the public and all ages are encouraged to participate. The route is filled with decorations, carolers, water stations and other festive highlights. Upon finishing the race, runners will receive their run times and are invited to a post-run party at the school.
Registration for The Medfield Foundation Angel Run begins in September. Forms and more information may be found in the Angel Run Registration section. The Medfield Foundation Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, supporting initiatives to build a stronger community.
Be sure to join us for The Medfield Angel Run this year on Sunday, December 8th, 2013. It's a piece of our community you won't want to miss.
A nice quote from a 2012 participant
"I just wanted to say thank you for a great run today. The whole experience was wonderful - from our shirts/numbers being delivered to our mailbox to all the volunteers along the route today. We could tell how much hard work was put into everything. My family and I had such a good time at our first Angel Run and the kids are already talking about next year:)"
